Using IPL

This quick and simple treatment will not cause scarring or hyperpigmentation. IPL uses very low levels of High Frequency (HF) and DC current simultaneously to electrocoagulate capillaries, without desiccating surrounding tissue. This treatment is self-limiting and vessel specific, resulting in minimal skin reaction. Low treatment energy does not adversely affect the dermis to cause scarring or any other major reaction.

No skin penetration! With IPL all you do is lightly touch the surface of the skin. You stay on the epidermis.

Effective on Men & Women

Thread veins are cosmetically unsightly and can appear on several areas of the body, particularly on the face and legs. It is understood that the majority of adults, although more prevalent in women, suffer the presence of thread veins to varying degrees. IPL is an effective and safe treatment.

IPL utilises an ultra fine insulated needle which allows accurate application of the treatment whilst protecting the skin and the surrounding tissue. The procedure is relatively painless and, unlike any other treatment, can be applied to all areas of the body, even to the knee and ankle which are otherwise too difficult to treat. No bandages are required and the patient may resume everyday activity immediately after their 15 minute treatment session.
